Agnieszka Olędzka jest absolwentką gdańskiej PWSSP. Uprawia malarstwo i rysunek. Brała udział w wielu wystawach zbiorowych w kraju, prezentowała swoje prace za granicą. W latach osiemdziesiątych podróżowała po Niderlandach, współpracowała z Joepem Luijckx, artystą, menedżerem, pedagogiem. Nawiązała twórcze kontakty ze środowiskiem malarzy południowej Holandii. Niderlandzkie fascynacje są niezwykle czytelne w pracach Agnieszki Olędzkiej, wystawianych w oliwskim Pałacu Opatów. Można w nich bez trudu odnaleźć ślady rozgrzanych, czystych barw van Gogha, zainteresowanie światłem jako elementem budującym kompozycję i nastrój obrazu. By w pełni przeżyć te obrazy, trzeba sięgnąć do pokładów pierwotnej “ dziecięcej” wrażliwości na rzeczywistość migotliwą i ulotną. Olędzka językiem środków malarskich opisuje zdarzenia, które rozumie i w pełni odbiera jako dziecko lub artysta, który niespodziewanie dla siebie samego odkrywa dzieciństwo na nowo.

Agnieszka Olędzka Paintings at Abbot’s Palace. Elusive images. (Gazeta Morska 29.01.1994)
Agnieszka Olędzka is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She pursues painting and drawing. She took part in many collective exhibitions in her home country and presented her works abroad. In the eighties, Agnieszka travelled across the Netherlands, where she worked with Joep Luijckx, an artist, manager, and teacher. She networked with painters from the southern regions of Netherlands. Dutch fascinations are extremely clear in the works of Agnieszka Olędzka exhibited in the Oliwa Abbots' Palace. Traces of warm, pure van Gogh colours, light used as an element that builds the composition and expression of the image – all this can be easily found here. Olędzka's colourful works painted with free brush strokes radiate extraordinary, magical energy, which flows from a purely artistic event rather than from any painterly concept. Olędzka juxtaposes colours in an unusual way: aggressive yellow, red, orange. The audacious compositions, the apparently unconstructed and „naive” works are surprising and thoughtful, in fact. In order to fully experience these paintings, one needs to reach the regions of one’s original "childlike" sensitivity to the flickering and fleeting reality. Using the language of painting, Olędzka describes events that she understands and fully perceives as a child or an artist who unexpectedly rediscovers childhood to herself.
